Big Island Real Estate update for August 2023

Aloha Everyone,

Just like most areas, we are seeing a drop in inventories , sales and prices in the single-family home area.  Condos are still doing well because the prices are more reasonable than where home prices have gone.  Below, are the stats for the Big Island.  I have a more detailed report for anyone whos would like to see it.

I’ll be working on my residential analysis for the Waikoloa Village are of the Big Island this week.  It’s been 4 months since my last update, but in that time only 25 homes sold. So not a lot of new data.

We just had Kilauea start erupting again and it was pretty spectacular.  There are several videos of it on-line. It shut down this past Saturday and the air is crystal clear again.  Pele is always with us.
